Food to try
Are you visiting Tanzania and have been wondering about what new food you can try to eat? Well almost every food around you is new, from they way they are prepared to serve to the type of food they are. There will be just about a lot from your selection list to choose from as to what is going to fill up your tummy today or tomorrow, perhaps it is going to be almost impossible to pick one and even easier to select that terrible taste, this is when i come in now, to help you pick a right choice and maybe a taste; I can't promise you on the taste because our tongues taste differently :) , I mean really, my Korean friend told me that a live octopus was the sweetest thing he ever tasted and gross; if I had a live octopus rolling over my tongue I would cut it out.
I will group the foods accordingly and a live octopus is not anywhere in the list so don't worry.
Breakfast
Either you take some juice or tea or milk, you can forget about the pancakes or Mexican breakfast for a while because I got you a new morning taste, so our first meal in the list will be Chapati (roti); this Indian food has been around for quite a loong time, it is a popular meal across the whole country you can get them any morning everywhere in most restaurants, it has got to taste good. Another food i am going to feature in our list is vitumbua; these oval shaped food are made from rice flour, hmmm, I like rice' this must be my favorite :D small amount of sugar and salt blended together with the flour give it a lovely taste, just one thing about these things is that they are a little bit oily, but I guess that is just going to make swallowing much better easier :D
Like these two meal were not enough, let me feature Maandazi as the last for breakfast. The brown buns are are traditional and maybe the mostly taken for breakfast. They are deep friend, a mixture of a little of sugar and wheat flour, some mix them with eggs and some with coconut milk it is either way sweet even when it is just a plain wheat and sugar bun. And there, enjoy a different morning now.
